This article describes how to install and use tipee go on your smartphone.

⚠️ The use of tipee go is subject to certain conditions. If you are unable to log in, please contact your company's tipee administrator.

Download tipee go

The tipee go app for iOS and Android allows you to clock in at any time and even offline.

For now, tipee go is available in the following stores:

  • Switzerland ; France ; Germany ; Italy ; Portugal.

Connect to tipee go

To connect to tipee go, you have several options:

Option 1: Scan the QR code

  • Access the web version of tipee from your computer:

    Click on My profile > My Settings .

  • Click on Configure to display the QR code.

  • From the home screen of the tipee go app, click on the QR code button.

  • Scan the QR code you previously displayed on your computer.

If an error page appears, try to refresh the tipee page on your computer and rescan the QR code.

  • You are connected to tipee go.

Option 2: Connect with your tipee ID

  • From the home screen of the tipee go app, click on the Login button.

  • Enter the name of your tipee instance, for example, monentreprise.

  • Enter your credentials, Username and Password and click on Log in.

Username or password forgotten

If you have forgotten your password, by clicking on Forgot Password, you will be directed to a new page where you can reset your password.

👉 In case you have forgotten your username or the email associated with your account, you can ask your account administrator either for your username or to display the QR code for you. Learn more in the article, Configure tipee go on your instance.

Allow Bluetooth

To allow tipee go to detect a beacon, it is necessary to enable Bluetooth during the first connection.

It is possible to change the authorization settings via the general settings of your smartphone (example iOS).

Allow location

If geolocation is enabled on your company's tipee (instance), you will be asked to allow location during the first connection. For the record, only the stamping is geolocated.

👉 On Android, in order to detect a beacon, it is necessary to activate geolocation.

You can modify your preferences in the general settings of the smartphone (example iOS).

Offline Stamping

Even in the absence of a network, tipee go allows you to stamp your working hours, thus ensuring full flexibility. As soon as the connection is restored, your stamps are synchronized with tipee.

Stamping Pending Send

  • Stamps made offline are visible from this button .

  • Click on the offline button to display the page with the list of stamps awaiting send.


Stamping Errors

Possible stamping errors, for example error of stamps made offline, are available via this button .

In case of error, check your tipee account on a computer to verify your stamps.

Logout, Change Language, and Tag Settings

The profile button (with your photo) gives you access to your settings where you can change the language, activities (tags), or log out of tipee go.

Tags Associated with Stamping

It is possible to associate tags with clock entries to qualify the worked time and to configure whether or not a tag must be entered with each clock entry.

FAQ

I can't connect to tipee go

If you are having trouble connecting to tipee go after following the steps in the setup guide, start by checking your internet connection. If everything is in order, make sure that your instance name and login credentials are correct for a standard connection. If you are using a QR code, refresh the settings page in your tipee instance.

I don't know my username (Username)

If you have forgotten your credentials (email or username), please contact the HR or IT (tipee administrator) of your company for assistance.

I can't locate a beacon at my workplace

For beacon detection to work, make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and that you have authorized tipee go in your smartphone's settings (see Allow Bluetooth). Following this verification, make sure that the location is also activated.

I don't understand the error message regarding Bluetooth

Bluetooth must be activated on your smartphone and authorized in the settings of tipee go. This ensures the detection of nearby beacons.

I don't understand why I need to activate location to use tipee go

Location is required to identify beacons at your workplace when clocking in. This function is only used during the clocking process to associate your entry or exit with a beacon.
To allow location, go to the settings of the tipee go app.

I don't have network at my workplace, can I use tipee go offline?

Do not worry, tipee go works even offline, allowing you to clock your hours even in areas without network (see offline clocking).
